It is generally understood that there are inherent risks associated with motorcycle riding. We strive to provide a safe environment for all participants at our track events. In the event of an accident and/or injury, no responsibility or liability will be accepted by LSTD.

Weather Policy

All track days are run rain or shine. No refunds due to weather unless the track is deemed unsafe to ride. LSTD is still responsible for track rental costs incurred.
 

Lone Star Track Days, Inc. (LSTD) provides motorcycle enthusiasts the opportunity to pay a *daily fee to ride on race tracks around Texas. In exchange for the *daily fee, LSTD provides and enforces the following services:

• Track sessions begin about 8:30am (depending on the track), ending at 5:00pm.
• A 30 minute lunch break is mandatory.
• Water and Gatorade provided (participants bring their own lunch).
• Ambulance/EMS, and Bike removal service provided.
• All motorcycles must pass a safety and tech inspection.
• All riders must attend a pre-riding meeting and abide by the rules set forth at that meeting.
• All riders are required to sign a general release of liability provided by the track facility and LSTD.
• In the event of an injury, no riding will be allowed while EMS units are not available, (ie; transporting an injured rider to the hospital).

LSTD reserves the right to remove any riders breaking the rules set and discussed at the riders meeting.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy is 7 days prior to the event to receive a full refund (less $20.00 transaction fee).  Cancellation can only be received by e-mail and sent to: wade@lstd.com

No refunds within 7 days of the event. A credit of 50% will be issued for a future track day in 2008 only if wade@lstd.com receives an e-mail requesting a cancellation. NO refunds/credits inside 48 hours of the event.

Gate Fee at Friday Event

Our Friday events are held the day before CMRA race weekends. Therefore, we get A LOT of racers who wish to get in more practice beforehand. There is a $15 CMRA gate fee that will be charged to anyone who registers for a Friday event due to the fact that many CMRA racers attend our events and get in early.  All gate money incurred goes back into the club to help support the CMRA’s organizers and their staff. We thank everyone who continues to support our Friday practice days! The CMRA is YOUR REGIONAL RACING organization so when you’re ready to race, the CMRA is ready for you!

Group/Rider Breakdown

Riders will be broken up into 3 groups on MONDAY events:

1. A Group
   Race/Aggressive Street Rider
   For existing racers, or the very aggressive street rider who is no stranger to the track experience.
    
2. B Group
   Intermediate Riders
   For the intermediate paced rider with more than a couple track days under their belt.
    
3. C Group
   Beginner Riders
   For the first time track rider, or the very moderately paced rider who has attended a track day, or two. This Group is also where the LSTD Riding School obtains their track time.

Riders will be broken up into 4 groups on FRIDAY events before the CMRA race weekends:

1. A Group #1
    
2. A Group #2
    
3. B-Group
    
4. CMRA Rider’s School/Mini’s
